The Port will receive an award of distinction in the special events category for its year-long 75th anniversary celebration in 2012 Wednesday at the American Association of Port Authorities conference in Orlando, FL. The Port's year-long celebration was designed to reach the public through special events and social media. Receiving the award will Port Commission Chair Lorianna Kastrop, who is attending along with Commissioner Dick Dodge and Executive Director Michael J. Giari.
