Ragazzi Boys Chorus Send-Off Concert
Ragazzi Boys Chorus concludes its season with a special send-off concert before embarking on a summer of recording a CD and a tour.

Ragazzi Boys Chorus concludes its season with a special send-off concert before embarking on a summer of recording a CD and a tour. Highlights of the concert will include songs the chorus will record later this summer mixing pieces from African and Arabic traditions with classics of Western repertoire. The stirring choral piece Glory from the film “Selma” will also be performed. This gospel-choir inspired song, which captured a Grammy, Golden Globe, and Oscar, was written by rapper Common and singer John Legend. The one-night-only concert is the last chance to see the choral boys sing this season. For the summer, the younger members of the boys chorus will travel to New Orleans for the 17th Annual Crescent City Choral Festival, while the more experienced singers will record the choir’s sixth album, “I Dream a World” at George Lucas’ Skywalker Ranch in Marin.
