Redwood City Domestic Violence Suspect Arrested

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of Locust Avenue Monday at around 10:30 p.m.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — A parolee was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence among other charges Monday night Redwood City police said.

Eduardo Chipresrosales, 26, broke into his ex-girlfriend’s apartment and stole her car according to police.

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of Locust Avenue at around 10:30 p.m. and found the suspect had kicked open his ex-girlfriend’s front door, entered the residence and pushed the woman, causing her to fall backwards nearly landing on top of her two-year old child.

Chipresrosales took the woman’s car keys and fled in her vehicle, police said.

Neither the woman or her child suffered serious injuries according to police.

Redwood City police arrested Chipresrosales on felony car stop in East Palo Alto after Palo Alto police helped them locate the vehicle, police said.

Chipresrosales tried to run away from police before his arrest, police said.

He was arrested on suspicion of burglary, vehicle theft, domestic violence, and child endangerment, and was booked into San Mateo County Jail, police said.
