Redwood City Independence Day Parade Postcard from the Past

In honor of Independence Day, here is an older postcard highlighting the Redwood City parade.  There is no date on the card but judging by the clothes, car and type of postcard it is probably from the 1960s or 70s.  Help me out if you can pin-point the date better.

The card was produced by the Lock Drug Company who according to the card had 3 stores in Redwood City and Foster City.  They aren't in Redwood City anymore and difficult to find if they still exist as a company.

The inscription on the card reads,

Find out what's happening in Redwood City-Woodsidefor free with the latest updates from Patch.

“Independence Day Parade in Redwood City, California, moving along Broadway’s business district.  It has been held since 1939 under the sponsorship of a group of public-minded citizens.  Through the participation of bands, floats, and marching units from others areas of the West, it has become the largest Fourth of July Parade in California."
