Redwood City Man Arrested And Charged For Sunday Stabbing: Report

Selvin Lemus-Suriano has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly stabbing his brother and uncle in Redwood City.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — A Redwood City man accused of stabbing his brother and uncle has been charged and arrested, the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office said.

Selvin Lemus-Suriano, 28, of Redwood City, is charged with assault with a deadly weapon, attempted murder, and criminal threats for an alleged stabbing on Sunday on the 400 block of Stanford Avenue.

Lemus-Suriano allegedly attacked his brother with a knife following an argument, the San Mateo Daily Journal reported. Lemus-Suriano’s uncle heard the noise, and tried to break up the fight when his nephew allegedly stabbed him before running off.

San Mateo County Sheriff’s Deputies located Lemus-Suriano and took him into custody, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office said. He was booked into Maguire Correctional Facility.

The incident was caught on video. Lemus-Suriano has pleaded not guilty, according to the Daily Journal.
