Redwood City Yogurt Shop Targeted In Armed Robbery: Sheriff

According to a news release, an employee at Corner Yogurt on Woodside Road was approached by an armed female suspect who took $400 in cash.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — The San Mateo County Sheriff's office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a yogurt shop in unincorporated Redwood City on Wednesday night.

According to a news release, an employee at Corner Yogurt on Woodside Road was approached by a female suspect who took $400 in cash after brandishing a silver handgun and demanding money.

The employee was not hurt, according to the sheriff’s department.

The news release described the suspect as a Polynesian female "in her 30’s, approximately 5’06”, 200 lbs., wearing a black beanie, black hoodie sweater, and black pants.”
