Meet Brandon Gruber, an inspiring young man with Down's Syndrome living life defying all odds.
We are excited to have Brandon Gruber as our speaker. Brandon is an inspiring young man with Down’s Syndrome. He is a member of the Santa Cruz Youth City Council, earns A’s and B’s, and was on the basketball and track teams. Brandon was a recipient of the CEC International Yes I Can! Award for the Arts category for acting, modeling and visual arts. He’s won other awards for his art, athletics, academics and citizenship. has been very actively involved in his high school and was voted homecoming king this past year. Dedicated to serving others, Brandon started a foundation to help others feel included in school activities.
We have also invited Peter Caraher and Marcy Uecker from the Family Resource Center (FRC) in Burlingame to talk about the free services provided by FRC.
