Stephanie Herman Controls Fitness with Mindful Kinetics
Stephanie Herman will offer free Mindful Kinetics demonstrations at Moving Day on Saturday, April 25 in Arena Green East, San Jose.

Stephanie Herman has been featured in national magazines such as Glamour, Elle, Gentry, Daily News and others. She designs and creates fitness programs, including the “Mindful Kinetics” series, to assist people in their alignment and awareness by exercising the brain first. She is a former principal ballerina and has been teaching for over 25 years.
“In life, our bodies start to shift without our awareness,” said Stephanie. We compensate and activate muscles that are not our specific primary movers, causing pain and weakness. By knowing more about your body, you stay younger, healthier and happier.”
Stephanie learned first hand about how to re-align, after series of injuries that left her unable to walk when doctors said they could not cure her. She researched Physical Therapies, Kinesiology, Pilates, Gyrotonic Expansion System®, and more to cure herself and finally feel like a dancer again.

“My method is to analyze where your misalignments are stemming from, and teach your brain how to educate your body,” said Stephanie. “Learning how to work a muscle in a new way, takes work outs, but once you understand your body and how it works, you can take control!”
Ballet Designed Body specialty programs have been offered throughout the United States and Europe. Ms. Herman has been invited to teach at internationally renowned spas and health clubs, including the Reebok Sports Club/NY, Center in Hana, Hawaii; Aspen Wellness Center in Colorado; Canyon Ranch in Massachusetts, Rancho la Puerta in Tecate, Mexico, and SkyLonda Retreat in California.
