Upcoming Construction, Roadway Impacts in Downtown Redwood City

Lane Closure Update for the Week of October 20 through October 24, 2014, plus Saturday, October 18.

The following is a news release from the city of Redwood City:


With the remarkable amount of construction going on Downtown, we want to keep you up-to-date with info about upcoming road closures, lane closures, and parking lane closures.

Noteworthy the week of October 20 (PLUS Saturday, October 18):

  • Saturday, October 18th - Crossing 900 (Jefferson at Middlefield) contractor has been granted permission to perform Saturday work. Work involves pre-cast panel and window deliveries between 8 a.m.-noon, and installation of pre-cast panels, tower crane operation, and drywall work between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. There are no lane closure associated with this work request.
  • Monday through Friday, October 20th - 24th - Brewster between Winslow and Allerton, travel lanes will be affected, expect delays as a result of the 601 Brewster contractor making several material deliveries throughout the week.
  • Monday through Friday, October 20th - 24th - Jefferson and Middlefield between Veterans and Bradford, as well as Bradford travel lanes will be affected, expect delays as a result of 525 Middlefield contractor making various material deliveries and concrete pours from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Monday and Tuesday, October 20th and 21st - Walnut Street closed between Marshall and Bradford, approved detour in effect, expect delays as a result of the 601 Main contractor completing installation of utilities from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Wednesday through Friday, October 22nd - 24th - Bradford Street partial closure between Main and Walnut, approved detour in effect, expect delays as a result of the 601 Main contractor completing installation of utilities from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
