Vote for Redwood City to Win “Best City Hall”

Vote for Redwood City's City Hall to Win Best City Hall in U.S.

Redwood City’s City Hall is in the running for Best City Hall in the nation! Renowned for its modern yet welcoming architecture and lush flowering trees and colorful blossoms during spring and summer, Redwood City’s City Hall needs your vote by Feb. 10 to help us get to the next round. With the community’s support, Redwood City just might win!

The City Hall Madness contest is organized by ELGL, an organization dedicated to “innovative local government leaders with a passion for connecting, communicating and educating.” This past December, ELGL issued a call for nominations for the Best City Hall in terms of design. After Redwood City’s nomination, the ELGL Tournament Committee selected a semi-finalist field of 64. Last week, ELGL members, friends and community members took part and voted in ELGL City Hall Madness, narrowing the field to 32, which still includes Redwood City.

Many first round matches came down to the wire, complete with the suspense and frenzy you would expect a contest like this to deliver. We encourage our community to spread the word to their neighbors, family, and friends and online using #ELGLCityHall. Click here to learn more.
