• Knights find their groove to knock off state champ (mantecabulletin.com) — Ripon Christian's volleyball team broke out of a rough Trans Valley League stretch by beating defending state champion Hilmar in four sets, showing the form local fans have been waiting for. After recent losses to Escalon, Hughson, Ripon and Sonora, the Knights spread the offense, tightened execution late in sets, and now look to build momentum heading into the second half of league play.
