1 Dead, 2 Wounded In Oakland Shootings

There were two separate shootings, according to police.

OAKLAND, CA — Two shootings occurred Wednesday in Oakland, and one of them was fatal, police said.

According to police, at 6:18 p.m. a male victim was fatally shot at 2300 Fruitvale Ave. Police have not identified any suspects and have not made any arrests in the case.

According to police, another shooting occurred earlier in the day. At 1 p.m., two male victims were shot at 4800 Melrose Ave.One of the victims was taken to a hospital and both are in stable condition. The two suspects remain at large, police said.
