OAKLAND, CA - As many as eight cars were involved in a crash on state Highway 24 in Oakland Tuesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash on eastbound Highway 24 near Broadway was reported at about 4:30 p.m., CHP officials said.
Only minor injuries were reported but multiple lanes of the highway were blocked in the area, causing a traffic nightmare to start the evening commute.
