A scientific study suggests that eating dark chocolate may improve blood flow to the retina and vision, says a Facebook post from Rockridge Optometry.

Guess what: the study exists.

According to a study abstract: "Acute cocoa supplementation enhances the visual performance of young adults; cocoa improved reading of low contrast letters, and detection of motion; (researchers) propose that increased blood flow to the retina and brain explains this; (they) also replicated the recent finding that cocoa improves cognitive ability.
