Bicycle Club Invites Rockridge Folks to Ride Along
The Berkeley Bicycle Club will meet at the Rockridge BART station twice a week for informal rides.

The Berkeley Bicycle Club will roll through Rockridge twice a week this winter for informal rides for intermediate and advanced riders with a helmet in-hand and a bicycle in-tow.
Roughly 2.5-mies-long, the rides will start at the Rockridge BART station will be held early Monday mornings and late Tuesday afternoons. Many more rides will take place in nearby Berkeley and other spots around the Bay Area. *See below for a more detailed schedule.

MONDAY

Ride: Pre-Dawn BBC LSD Ride (EB Edition)
When: 5:30am, Winter
Where: Starts from Rockridge BART. Slow, long ride, up Butters, down Redwood, up Pinehurst; back to Rockridge BART.
What: A 2.5 hour slow group ride
TUESDAY
Ride: Pre-Dusk, BBC LSD Ride
When: 4:00pm meet, Tuesdays during the Winter

What: A 2 to 2.5 hour slow group ride.

Ride: Pre-Dawn, Berkeley/Butters/Moraga
When: 5:35am, year-round
Where: Vine Street Peet’s in Berkeley. Ride rolls up across town towards Butters Canyon then out towards Moraga.
What: 2-3hours. Pace is moderate to fast over hilly terrain.
Ride: Pre-Dawn, Headlands Ride: SF/Marin
When: Starts in SF at 6:10am – 17th & Sanchez; 6:30am – Arguello Gate; 6:40am – GG Bridge, year-round

Ride: Tuesday Night, Redwood Loop Ride
When: 5:30pm meet (5:40pm roll out), Tuesdays during the Spring/Summer

Ride: Port of Oakland (aka POO)

WEDNESDAY

Where: 5:30 from Embaracerdo BART; 5:45 from Sandpit Gym; 6:00 from Golden Gate Bridge. Slow, long ride over the West side of the bridge, into Marin, and the BC loop (2hours) or Paradise loop (2.5-3hours).
What: 2.5 to 3-hour long/slow distance group ride.
Ride: Pre-Dawn, Berkeley/Butters/Moraga
When: Starts (sometimes) in Berkeley at 5:35am, year-round
Where: Starts at Vine Street Peet’s in Berkeley. Ride rolls up across town towards Butters Canyon then out towards Moraga.
What: 2-3hours. Pace is moderate to fast over hilly terrain.
SATURDAY
Ride: Berkeley/Tilden/Mt. Diablo or Morgan Territory
When: 7:05am, Saturday year-round
Where: Starts at Vine Street Peet’s in Berkeley. Ride rolls up Spruce Ave and through Tilden towards Mt Diablo.
What: 5-6 hours. Pace is moderate over hilly terrain.
Ride: Roasters Ride: SF/Marin
When: 8:00am, Saturday and Sunday year-round

What: 4-hour group ride, some portions very fast, others neutral.
Ride: Belmont/Woodside Ride
When: 8:15am Saturday & 8:00am Sunday, year-round
