Big O Tire Shop Catches Fire

Firefighters quickly brought a one-alarm fire at a tire shop in Oakland under control this morning.

Firefighters responded at 4:42 a.m. to the fire at Big O Tires at 810 W. MacArthur Blvd., according to a fire dispatcher.

Fire crews were able to bring the blaze under control within minutes after arriving, according to the dispatcher. No injuries were reported during the fire, the dispatcher said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
