A one-stop experience where dozens of volunteers work to provide access for unsheltered neighbors in need.

The City of Oakland’s Human Services Department is partnering with Lava Mae to host Pop-Up Care Village, a one-stop experience where dozens of volunteers work to provide access for unsheltered neighbors in need.
Lava Mae works throughout the Bay Area offering critical hygiene services to the most vulnerable residents by coming directly into the community.

On Wednesday, December 4, 11am – 3pm, in Frank H. Ogawa Plaza, Oakland, Lava Mae in partnership with the City will offer:
- Food
- Clothing
- Showers
- Haircuts
- Acupuncture
- Art & Music
- Animal Care/Veterinary Services
- Mental Health, Social, and Medical Services
- Legal Aid
- Harm Reduction
