Fathering From Within: An African American Fatherhood Series
African American fathers are invited to this free workshop series at BANANAS to learn tools to become a better father, partner, and man.
In this workshop, Fathering From Within: An African American Fatherhood Series, fathers will gain tools and techniques to strengthen relationships, gain self-awareness, and become better fathers, partners, and men in this four-week series centered on the new life coaching model called Culture-Based Transformative Coaching (CBTC). By identifying harmful, long-held belief systems that may negatively impact parenting and lifestyle choices, participants in this series will expand their personal insight and ability to self-direct. Facilitator Gaylon Logan will introduce fathers to the practice of mindfulness meditation with the ultimate objective being to enlighten, empower, and enhance the fatherhood experience.
