Local Artist Lisa Congdon moderates ART + CRAFT+ ACTIVISM Panel

Diesel, A Bookstore in Oakland welcomes authors Kim Werker, Leanne Prain, and Betsy Greer to the store to discuss and sign their new books, Make it Mighty Ugly, Strange Material, and Craftivism on Thursday, October 2nd at 7pm.

This fall, authors-artists-makers, Kim Werker, Leanne Prain, and Betsy Greer have embarked on a North American tour of moderated conversations in support of their three new books. The theme of the tour is“Make Your Voice Heard: The Intersection of Craft, Creativity, and Activism”. Oakland based artist and illustrator, Lisa Congdon, will be moderating this feisty discussion.
