Man Killed in Oakland Shooting
The man was shot to death near Eighth and Campbell streets.
OAKLAND, CA - A man was fatally shot this afternoon in West Oakland, according to police.
The shooting was reported at 4:12 p.m. today.
Police initially said the shooting occurred in the vicinity of Eighth and Willow streets, but have since clarified that the scene was at Eighth and Campbell streets.

The victim was transported to Highland Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Further details were not immediately available.
