Man Shot In The Back In Oakland

OAKLAND, CA — A male victim was injured in a shooting late Wednesday night in Oakland, according to police.

The shooting was reported at 11:42 p.m. in the 1400 block of Auseon Avenue in East Oakland. The victim suffered a gunshot wound to his back and was taken to a hospital, police said. He is in stable condition.

Police have not made any arrests in the case or identified any suspects as of this morning, police said.
