Man Shot to Death in Oakland Thursday Morning

Oakland, CA - A man was fatally shot in Oakland this morning, police said.

After police received a call about a shooting and a Shotspotter activation, officers responded to the area of San Pablo Avenue and 35th Street at 4:17 a.m. today and found a man in his 30s who was suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police aren't releasing any other information about the shooting, such as a possible motive and suspects, at this time.
