Man Stabbed To Death Near Lake Merritt
The crime happened at a gas station on Grand Avenue, north of Lake Merritt.
OAKLAND, CA — A man found dead Wednesday afternoon at a gas station in Oakland's Adams Point neighborhood was stabbed to death, police said.Officers with the Oakland Police Department responded Wednesday at 1:43 p.m. to the Chevron gas station at 350 Grand Ave. to investigate a report of a stabbing.
Responding officers located a 34-year-old man suffering from at least one stab wound.
The man was unresponsive and was pronounced deceased at the scene, police said.

The police department's homicide division responded to the scene and took over the investigation.
