Marked Oakland Police Vehicle Stolen, Recovered
Nothing was stolen from inside the vehicle.

OAKLAND, CA — A marked Oakland police vehicle was stolen early this morning but was then found shortly afterward, a police spokeswoman said.
The vehicle was reported stolen at 1:44 a.m. from the 2600 block of 74th Avenue.
Eleven minutes later, the car was found unoccupied in the area of Tompkins and Vale avenues, police spokeswoman Officer Johnna Watson said.

Nothing was stolen from inside the vehicle, Watson said.
No arrest has been made in the case as of this morning.
