Michael Cho discusses and signs "Shoplifter"

The first graphic novel by artist, designer, and illustrator, Michael Cho, tells the story of Corinna Parks, a young millennial whose life has become monotony. Her dreams have fallen by the wayside, and her main form of companionship comes from her cat. In fact, she only feels alive whenever she shoplifts a magazine from the corner store near her apartment. It’s not a good habit, she knows, but she also knows there must be something more to life. The question is how to find it.
