Oakland police have identified a man who was fatally shot near Oakland International Airport last month as 42-year-old Maurice Moore Sr. of Vallejo. Moore was shot in the 100 block of Hegenberger Place, a dead-end street off Hegenberger Road, at 1:32 a.m. on Dec. 20 and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. Oakland police haven't released any information about suspects or a motive in the shooting.--Bay City News
