OAKLAND, CA — A spokeswoman for the Oakland Police Department confirmed today that Officer Amritpal Aujla was recently arrested by an outside law enforcement agency for misdemeanor driving under the influence. Details about when and where Aujla was arrested haven't yet been disclosed.Aujla graduated from the 171st Oakland Police Recruit Academy on April 3, 2015.The city of Oakland's directory lists Aujla as working in the Police Department's Bureau of Field Operations.— Bay City News; Image by Renee Schiavone, Patch
