Pedestrian Critically Injured In Oakland

OAKLAND, CA — A man is in critical but stable condition after being struck by a vehicle in front of Oakland police headquarters this morning, police said.

The collision occurred around 8:15 a.m. in front of 464 Seventh St., which is just across the street from the Oakland Police Department at the corner of Seventh and Broadway.

The victim was transported to a hospital. The driver remained on the scene to cooperate with investigators.
