Rockridge, MacArthur BART Stations Reopen
Bomb sniffing dogs searched the Rockridge Station.

OAKLAND, CA — Both the Rockridge and MacArthur BART stations have reopened after police responded to reports of a suspicious item on a train this afternoon.
Bomb-sniffing dogs searched the Rockridge station after the report, which came from a patron about 3:30 p.m., according to BART officials.
The Rockridge station was evacuated and there were delays in both the Antioch and SFO directions due to the police activity.

No description was immediately available on the suspicious item.
Hi we are experiencing major delays because we were reported of a suspicious item at Rockridge. We hope to get the trains moving soon after the police clears the station.
