Rockridge Community Planning Council: College Avenue's Halloween Parade Has Been Canceled

The COVID-19 pandemic has raised concerns about exposing children and their families to the virus, and the Center for Disease Control has recommended against any trick-or-treat activities this Halloween. As a result, the RCPC board has voted to cancel its participation in the annual College Avenue Halloween Parade.

Instead, RCPC will be planning and announcing a substitute online event. Families are invited to submit photos of their kids in costume for possible publication in the November issue of The Rockridge News (send photos to editor@rockridge.org).
