Rockridge Crime Council Agenda: Home Burglaries and Holdups

Armed robberies, home burglaries and other local public safety concerns will be covered at the Greater Rockridge Neighborhood Crime Prevention Council’s monthly meeting.

The council’s October meeting agenda includes a discussion of ongoing Rockridge crime issues. Those include:

• Laptop thefts from College Avenue cafes.
• Complaints about late night noise coming from "The Hut."
• An increase in robberies and muggings around 58th Street and Telegraph Avenue.
• An uptick in of home burglaries and armed robberies on Shafter Avenue.
• Complaints about bicycles nearly running people down on College Avenue.

The meeting is set for Thursday, Oct. 11 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Rockridge Library's Community Room, College and Manila Ave.

NCPC meetings take place on the second Thursday of the month. Meetings are open to the public.
