
OAKLAND, CA — A 20-year-old man was charged with murder Wednesday for a fatal shooting that occurred last month in Oakland, police said today.
Donald Aaron was arrested on May 4, just five days after the fatal shooting occurred.
On April 30, at 10:26 p.m., officers responded to a report of a gunshot victim in the 4000 block of Alameda Avenue, according to police.

The victim, later identified as 22-year-old Pittsburg resident Robert McCorvey, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police did not provide a possible motive for the shooting.
