Victim Shot To Death Near Oakland DMV

OAKLAND, CA —A male victim was fatally shot in East Oakland late Monday night, according to police.

Officers responded at 10:59 p.m. to a report of a victim down in the 9100 block of Date Street, near the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Medical personnel tried to save his life, but police said he was pronounced dead at the scene.

There has been no suspect information released in the homicide and no arrests have been reported.
