Were You Affected by the Weekend Power Outage?
Over 10,000 Oakland and Berkeley Hills residents experienced a lights-out situation over the weekend due to a massive power outage.

A curious critter was the culprit in an incident that left nearly 11,000 Pacific Gas and Electric Customers in Oakland and Berkeley Hills powerless Saturday evening.
The outage, reported just after 5 p.m., affected 10,950 customers, according to PG&E spokeswoman Jana Morris.
A squirrel reportedly made its way into some PG&E electrical equipment, causing the widespread electrical outage.
