Woman Murdered in Oakland Identified
She was found lying on the ground Tuesday afternoon.
OAKLAND, CA — A woman who was shot and killed in East Oakland on Tuesday afternoon has been identified by police as 24-year-old Marnee Causey of Oakland.
Officers who responded to reports of a shooting in the 7400 block of Fresno Street near 73rd Avenue at 3:09 p.m. Tuesday found Causey on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Oakland police haven't released any information about a possible suspect or motive in the shooting.
