SANTA ROSA, CA — Police in Santa Rosa asked for the public's assistance Sunday finding a missing 33-year-old woman.
Makayla Ann Slayton, who also goes by "Mak," left her family residence in Santa Rosa about five weeks ago and had not been heard from as of Sunday, the Santa Rosa Police Department said in a statement.
Slayton is white and was described as 5-foot-5, with long hair that is dyed red, and blue eyes.
She was wearing a pink sweatshirt and blue pants with silver stars when she was last seen in June, police said.
Slayton is known to spend time in San Francisco and East Oakland and was believed to possibly be in or on her way to East Oakland, according to the Police Department's statement.
Anyone with information about her was asked to contact the Santa Rosa Police Department at (707) 543-3600.
