ROHNERT PARK, CA — A fire damaged one apartment in a fourplex Thursday night in Rohnert Park, but firefighters prevented the blaze from spreading to neighboring units, authorities said.
Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety dispatchers received multiple reports of an apartment fire on Kirsten Court at about 10:01 p.m.
When crews arrived, they found one unit engulfed in flames and numerous residents outside the building.
Patrol officers immediately began evacuating residents while firefighters attacked the blaze. Crews extinguished the fire and contained it to the apartment where it started, according to the Department of Public Safety.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire was not immediately released.
