SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Two men were arrested during a Rohnert Park operation targeting sex trafficking.
Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety conducted the operation with the Santa Rosa Police Department and Sonoma County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities described the effort as a human trafficking "demand reduction operation" aimed at people seeking to purchase commercial sex acts.
Police identified the two people arrested as Mateo Elias Crawford and Jose Luis Vilchez-Arellano.
Both were arrested on suspicion of solicitation of prostitution and booked into the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility, according to Rohnert Park Public Safety.
