Missing Hiker, 14-Year Old Winery Worker, 71-Year-Old: Police List Of Missing People

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Police renewed their appeal for information involving a list of missing persons, some missing for decades.

The list includes Sunshine Borjas, whose disappearance triggered an extensive search of Bodega Head before authorities suspended the effort in October 2025.

Borjas, then 47, left her Santa Rosa home in late September 2025 to hike alone on a Bodega Head trail. Authorities later found her vehicle in the Bodega Head parking lot.

The Sonoma County Sheriff Department's search-and-rescue unit, the U.S. Coast Guard, and volunteers searched by helicopter, plane, boat, drone, and search dog.

Authorities eventually returned the investigation to the Santa Rosa Police Department.

Borjas stands about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs approximately 155 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes. She wore a gray shirt, gray leggings, and black sneakers when she was last seen.

Police also seek information about three other missing people:

Andres Vasquez was reported missing in 2008, when he was 14. Originally from Oaxaca, Vasquez was staying at the Valley of the Moon Children's Center. He had lived in the United States for one year and worked at a local winery with his brother. He would now be 31.

Lindsay Grant McDougall, 73, left his home in 1984 and never returned. He is white.

Jordan Lee Coulter, 41, was last seen in July 2025. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

Michael Zevgolis, 58, last seen when he left his house in 1995.

The appeals form part of the Santa Rosa Police Department's Missing Person Monday campaign, which the department launched in 2024 to draw renewed attention to long-term missing-adult cases and generate investigative leads.

Police feature small groups of missing adults on social media each Monday and ask community members to view and share their profiles.

During the first four weeks of the latest campaign, detectives received information confirming that four featured people were alive and no longer needed to remain in the missing-person database.

Community help has helped resolve 18 missing-adult cold cases since the campaign began, according to police.
