The company plans to build the facility on 3.51 acres at 565 Aviation Blvd., northwest of the intersection with Brickway Boulevard.

The site sits along the Aviation Boulevard connection to Skylane Boulevard, next to an existing warehouse serving Korbel and Jackson Family Wines, the North Bay Journal reported.

Airport Business Center owns the property and is developing the project, the North Bay Journal reported.

The permit application identifies the facility as a Frito-Lay product-transfer warehouse.

The warehouse would receive finished chips, snacks, and multipacks from manufacturing plants.

The facility is expected to employ 38. Workers would break down pallets into route-specific quantities and stage the products for sales representatives who make daily deliveries to retailers, the North Bay Journal reported.

The development was the site of a larger Amazon proposal involving a 181,000-square-foot facility at the site, according to the North Bay Journal, which reproted that Amazon walked away from the project and dropped plans for a 250,000-square-foot warehouse south of Sonoma.
