• SMART train strikes, hospitalizes bicyclist in Santa Rosa (pressdemocrat.com) — A SMART train traveling between the Santa Rosa Downtown and Rohnert Park stations struck a bicyclist at the Sebastopol Road crossing Saturday evening, sending the rider to a local hospital. Service on two SMART trips was delayed, though none of the roughly 90 passengers or crew were injured, and officials say this is the seventh SMART-related collision of 2026 as they investigate the cause.
