SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Guy Fieri is giving fans free tickets to watch 32 celebrated chefs battle as he tapes the latest season of "Tournament of Champions."
The celebrity chef and longtime Sonoma County resident hosts the Food Network show, which pits chefs against each other in a single-elimination, sudden-death tournament.
On the show, chefs must create a dish using a protein, a produce item, and a piece of cooking equipment selected by a spinning wheel called the "Randomizer."
Guest chefs taste the dishes without knowing who prepared them. Competitors go head-to-head until one wins the championship.
Last season, Bryan Voltaggio took home a massive wrestling belt and $150,000.
Fans can request tickets through On-Camera Audiences. Audience members must be at least 18.
Advance registration is available for shows filming after Oct. 23. Dates will be announced. The show tapes in Windsor.
Local fans can also sign up for notifications about next season.
Organizers ask fans to choose one arrival per day to allow many people as possible to attend. To stay for additional arrivals, check with the audience coordinator onsite at the taping, according to producers.
