Learn what you can do to maintain your yard, have a vegetable garden and still be a good water citizen. Sacramento gets only about 20 inches of rain in a good year, and this year is not looking good. Lisa Christensen shares strategies to help your plants survive now and for you to better cope with the capricious whims of mother nature in the future. Lisa has her Garden/Landscape Certificate, and is a compost nut and water miser.

Join us for a special Storytime for kids with Autism and/or sensory disorders, featuring songs, stories, sensory activities and interactive materials. There will lots of fun and time to socialize as well. Behaviors and/or noise are no problem, and siblings are welcome. We have developed this program for those children who may have difficulty in traditional Storytime and the presenter is also the parent of a child with autism. See you there!

Come to the library for a free yoga lesson and experience its grounding, calming effects, while increasing your strength, flexibility and balance. All skill levels, beginner to advanced, are welcome.
