Did you know that we have one very special animal to thank for most of the foods we eat? Bees! Kids will learn what pollination is, learn about four types of native bees that help produce some of Californian's crops, and make their own mason bee house out of paper. We'll enjoy a snack of fresh fruits or vegetables that were pollinated by bees. We will also read 'Bee & Me' by Elle J. McGuinness.  Program presented by California Food Literacy.
