Race For a Mission Update: Team Reaches Colorado

The local cycling team Race For a Mission is currently in Colorado, on day three of a 3,000 mile trip.

The four-man is still at it. The riders are on day three of approximately seven, in their 3,000 mile Race Across America (RAAM). The team started in Oceanside on Saturday afternoon and are currently in Colorado.

Crew Chief Ashley Loucks posted on Facebook: "It just dawned on me that this whole thing is a little insane...."

Ashley has been part of a team that helped pull all the logistics of this race off, and is on the road with the riders helping them with the transitions, crew shifts and mapping. All this effort from the team and the riders is motivated by three causes: Hunger, Clean Water, and Education.
