Race for a Mission Update: We are not in Kansas Anymore
The four-man cycling team made of pastors and Capital Christian attendees enters Missouri.
The team crossed the Missouri state line earlier this morning and was ready for a change of scenery. The riders are doing great, and have picked up their pace since toughing out the climb through the Rockies.
Through the Rockies, their speed dropped down to about 17 mph, but their average speed has picked back up, thanks to flatter land, and is now 18.82 mph. At this rate, the team has only about two days of riding left before crossing the finish line in Annapolis, Maryland.
Their goal was to complete the race within seven days; that goal is within their reach. To spot them live on a map and for current updates, go to www.raceforamission.com. If you are interested in seeing their standing in the race, visit www.raceacrossamerica.org and check the leader boards.

Don't forget that this team is not competing just for fun. Their main motivation is to raise funds and awareness for three local, national and global issues in our world: Hunger, Clean Water and Education. To donate to the causes and for more information visit their site, www.raceforamission.com.
