CCHS Baseball Faces Elimination
The Cougars must win tonight to force a decided game against Escalon in the Sac-Joaquin Section baseball semifinals.

Capital Christian High School is facing a do-or-die scenario tonight against Escalon.
Win and the Cougars live to see another day, most likely this weekend, and fight for a chance to play in the Sac-Joaquin Section championships.
Lose the game, which starts at 5 p.m. at Billy Hebert Field in Stockon, and the season is over. Β

Last Saturday, the Cougars fumbled away momentum by losing 10-3 in the first game of the best-of-three series. Β Capital Christian jumped out to an early lead in the game, but five errors ultimately doomed the team.
Those mistakes can't happen tonight, said head coach Nelson Randolph.
