CCS Lights and Electronic Signs at Planning Commission Monday

A Capital Christian School proposal will come before the county planning commission Monday.

could soon be a lot brighter. Officials there want to add and three electronic signs around the campus, and Monday night they'll take their case to the Sacramento County Planning Commission.

The proposal, which in November was supposed unanimously by the Cordova Community Planning Advisory Council, will be discussed at 5:30 p.m. Monday in the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors Chambers, 700 H St.

Currently, the school rents portable stadium lights for every football season. Officials want to make the switch to permanent lights, which would provide better lighting and would save money in the long term.
