City Of Rancho Cordova Makes Big Financial Assist To Playmakers

First Bank's Jane Daly, nonprofit's Greg Roeszler accept $74,000 grant for at-risk youth

To help at-risk youth in Sacramento County, the City of Rancho Cordova awarded a one-year, $74,000 grant to The Playmakers, Inc. during a recent City Council meeting.

Accepting the check on behalf of Playmakers was First Bank’s Jane Daly and Greg Roeszler, Executive Director of Playmakers. Daly, who serves as Vice President and Manager at First Bank’s Rancho Cordova branch (2880 Sunrise Blvd., Suite 100), is on the board of Playmakers.

Joining Daly and Roeszler during the presentation were Rancho Cordova Mayor David Sander and City Council members Donald Terry, Robert McGarvey, Dan Skoglund, and Linda Budge.

Playmakers is a non-profit which uses sports to motivate at-risk youth to improve grades and become more accountable.
