Crime Logs: Man's Laptop Theft Thwarted By Dog

Man arrested for burglary attempt, other man on loose after trying to steal woman's laptop.

Man Arrested on Burglary Charges

A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary Wednesday morning after reportedly breaking into a car and home. At 9000 Kiefer Boulevard, Pavel Maksin was allegedly seen inside a vehicle without the owner's permission, then later was entering her home by breaking out window security bars. Maksin didn't take anything, but fled from the area before deputies arrived. A perimeter was established due to the time between phone calls to the Sheriff's Department (called after the car incident and house incident) and the matching suspect description. While deputies didn't locate Maksin initially, shortly later they received a call that matched his description.
